brady, did you ever do wind tests to see how low the top edge of your wind screen can be lowered to before it becomes ineffective. It seems than most of these designs have it sticking up almost as high as the windshield/

I made mine so you see through the rear view mirror. If it was any lower. It would hinder the view. The nice thing about mine is it is easily removable.

Azy, did you make that screen? If so how /what did you use. I want to make one, cant really afford to spend 250 on a new one.

Hi Frank,
I made a jig to make the deflectors uniform. I used 5/16" steel which I heat and shape to the jig. I clean, acid etch, prime and paint the frame.. Your going to have to weld it together with the supports. I purchased top quality super screen and tubing to cover most of the frame. I hand sew the corners with heavy duty nylon thread. Once the jig is made, it still takes 5-6 hours to put it together. You could make it square if you don't mind pointy corners. Good luck with it. Mine are only $179.99 + shipping if you don't want to deal with trying to make it.

I don't post often though I thought this was worth mentioning to everyone.
My windscreen arrived from Brady Jones, and I couldn't be happier.
It is easy to install and remove, blocks the wind very well, and looks great installed in the car. The overall quality is impressive and the materials it is made of appear to be very durable. The installation is clean and easy, with no brackets or extra mounts. If you can adjust your headrests, you can install or remove this in 30 seconds. Compared to other windscreens we found for the spider the price is great, too. A nice feature is the convertible top clears the screen so you can use the top, up or down, with the windscreen in place. And if you do decide to remove it on the road, it fits in the trunk. Well made, easy to install, and it works.
