A 1978 Spider Parts for any one who needs them

Post by bandit »

I am picking up a 78 Spider that needs a lot of work so it will
end up as a parts car anyone need something ? Some stuff
you can have for free just cover shipping other parts i may
want some cash to break even on the deal .

Most of the car looks good this could be a restored car as well
but a few of the parts i need will be missing right off the back
and if any one else wants a part or 2 don't wait to long it's
going to be sent to Fiat Heaven shortly .

Did the '78 have the remote driver's side mirror? I need a part off of one.

I need a set of seat belts/retractors. Belt condition isn't as important as retractor condition. I'm going to have them rewebbed, but my originals are shot.

I have a 79 spider,

I could use a rearview mirror, and if they make one a grill for the heat supply under the dash. I just have an opening.

Tony,

I believe those louvers were only on '82+ vehicles. If found on a '79, they would be an aftermarket add on.

Not promoting any vendor, but I will email anyone with a known source for this item. Send me a PM or email request.

rear sway bars only came on cars with torque tubes. aftermarket sets were sold for later years, but ive never found a car with one on it.

78 part out

Let me know whats the condition of the windshield bracket. If you open the doors it looks silver. I think mine are rusting out from the inside. I've never had the windshield off so i'm not shure how the bracket is attached to the windshield frame. two allen head bolts hold it to the car.

thanks
