I hated the look when the radiator was exposed at the bottom of the lower grill when bumper was removed. I really like the look of the mesh black grills. The turn signals are behind the mesh grills where the wires used to run thru.

Thanks,
I did not use most of the stainless/ chrome parts when I reassembled the car. Just something about the satin black with the green does it for me. I found the black metal headlight protectors on ebay for less than $10, they are made for a Jeep. The mounting hardware didn't work but I was able to attach them without any problems. The black aluminum mesh grills were inexpensive also. I have small black driving lights that I may mount but am still not certain where to put them.

Looks really good! I especially like the way you used it to cover up the turn signal holes. What kind of mesh did you use?

I just searched black wire mesh grill on ebay. I required 2 sections and both cost approx. $60.

I used an L braket and attached it to the 17mm bolt that was intended for the bumper shock. I had to put a small curve in the vertical end of the bracket but very easy. The signals are screwed to the horizontal side of the bracket. I was able to bend the aluminum mesh slightly to fit the contour of the small openings (attached with silicone II). I had purchased other turn signals and had changed my mind several times on where to mount them and what to do with the small openings but this turned out to be the easiest and I think it looks cool. I also secured a 2.5" flexible exhaust tube beside the passenger side signal and it runs up to underneath my K&N cone filter. It seems to force fresh cool air to the filter while I'm driving.
