Sorry, but this is just so ridiculous! No windshield wipers? I wonder why!

FIAT on STEROIDS!
Re: FIAT on STEROIDS!
I don't think he can see through the windshield anyway with that thing on the hood. I guess he needs some pillows on the seat to get a view.
What's the point of getting a small European fun car if you like American iron better? He could have build himself a nice Camaro without molesting a Spider

I think its pretty cool, on the radical side. Shows some talent. I saw another spider with a 350 in it, sold for about 11 grand about 8 years ago. That one had sidepipes and the engine fit under the stock hood. Didnt even know it was there. The point of using a small euro car is to think outside of the box. Thats when someone can end up with a very nice one off ride. Its not like these cars are sought after cassics. I say job well done.

To each their own. While he was at it, he might as well have jacked the car up 10 feet high and converted it into a 4x4.spiderrey wrote:I think its pretty cool, on the radical side. Front end reminds me of a 71 camaro with a HUGE cowl injection hood.

Re: FIAT on STEROIDS!
Ive seen a 4x4 spider before. Wasnt well done and looked bad. I saw a 4x4 74 x1/9 that looked awesome though. Just because a cars not to my tastes, I cant give it the thumbs down if it was executed well. Personallt, I would have made the hood scooop smaller, thats about it.
Re: FIAT on STEROIDS!
I doubt you could call it a Fiat, it's only a Spider body, nothing else. I don't like the giant rear tires hanging outside the fenders, but it's a conversation piece.
Re: FIAT on STEROIDS!
Interesting
I was thinking of blowing up the photo and putting on my warehouse wall right above my Spider. This way when I can threaten my car. "if you keep pissing me off I will do this to you".
The dash does look neat and interesting center console.

Well, maybe because I grew-up in the 70's & 80's, I think it's cool.
I wouldn't have done it. But I look at the craftsmanship, and I'm impressed. His work stands above much of what I see from us on this forum. (especially me! )
And at least he stuck with a theme.
I say thumbs-up!

I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!
