wondering if anyone has tried the Fiat 124 Spider Black Seat Covers 79-82 New from Fiatinc/Everything Fiat, made in Italy...
http://cgi.ebay.ca/Fiat-124-Spider-Blac ... 4836296373
doesn't say what they are made of (insert "non-leather" here), just wondering about longevity, quality of fit, how sweaty your a$$ will get, etc, etc...
any experience?
Will be twice that with leather, but is it worth it to wait and save??

Redoing the seats... seeking wisdom
Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, we have decided to turn off the light at the end of the tunnel. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Re: Redoing the seats... seeking wisdom
I recently purchased a rear seat and the front covers used from a fellow in Oregon . They were in decent to good shape and gave them a good scrub with soap and water and then just water. Lordco recomended a vinyl paint from Plastic coat and I put that on the past couple of days(black). I think the seats look great, definately not as good as new but a great re-fresh. Now, I have not installed the seats yet,so I don't know how they would stand up,but I'm hoping they will for the limited amount of driving I might be doing in the car.
Just a thought..
My neighbor,an upolsterer by trade, thought the fronts in real nice leather leather would be around 2 grand after dismantling the exisiting seats to get a pattern and then re-sew. can of paint $12.95 less my discount.
