I like it a lot better, knowing that the stripes are inlays -- I thought it was a groove, like paneling. Looking forward to see it with a finish, and with the other lights, switches, etc.

Just my opinion. Workman ship looks good. I would think the tach needed to be in front of trhe driver.

I agree the tach and oil pressure should be in the line of sight, but that is a nice diversion

Heres a finished pic of the latest projet. While almost finished. I guess Ill cut the glove box door in. Presonally ,I think it came out awesome.

I like it Rey. What kind of wood is that? Where did you get all the wood? I'm guessing you haven't cleared it yet. What are you going to use to clear coat it?

Its quilted maple and black walnut. Its sealed in this pic. I love it, might have a change of plans now.

Rey, if you decide on the quilted maple,make sure your sunglasses are on, especially if the sun is behind you. Either of those look really sharp... now I'm going to end up doing something with mine. (maybe later) have some yellow cedar birds eye burl cut to shape.

I'd go with the Maple. But that's me. What thickness is the wood? I would love to get some Quilted Maple for my car. Where is the best place to buy this stuff? I'm in NJ
