Congratulations...the car is stunning!I really like the interior.Very classy without being over the top.I personally would love to see the small bumpers on there, the chrome would really make it pop.

OMG it is beautiful.

Like a Ferrari GT 250 with the lights in the grill.

No question here, those bumpers belong on the car.

Wow.

Tell us about the motor.

I can´t imagine why you say that...

The engine is almost stock, only high compression pistons, lighteen flywheel and K&N filter. I use the car to do long trips, so I need a long engine life.

In a short time I want install new headers (So Cal, me must talk about this!!) and maybe a refurbished head with large valves, but that is a lot of money and the budget is empty after the paint...

¿Don´t you like them? Is the "modern" touch!!

I am still working on the car, and I will re-reoute them this evening. I must finish also the interior ulphostery and some more details.

I promise hide them!!

Looks great!

I have a question about the Mini Cooper lights since I'm looking to do the same to my car (when it's bumperless). Did you have to add extra metal or support under the surround so the fog lights don't ruin the trim or become loose?

Thanks.

WOW! You did an outstanding job restoring the car. I also vote for no bumpers.

Ouch - as this car has died. And, he did end up putting the bumpers back on. Like I would have done too. Still, sorry for your loss. Glad you and your wife were OK though. :?
