I’ve noticed a lot of Members name their Fiats. I’ve never been one to name my inanimate objects no matter how fond of them I might be. I guess it is at least in part because I’ve never been very creative in coming up with catchy or humorous nicknames.
But recently when my Sis-in-law saw my new Fiat for the first time she said something that was both funny and yet in a way quite appropriate.
She looked at it and said: “Wow, it looks like a big Lemon!” My bro-in-law quickly said; “Don’t say that. That is an insult, particularly since you are talking about a Fiat.”
I laughed, since I know her well enough to know that she meant it as a complement. But it has stuck with me ever since.
I had a chance to take some fresh pictures last Sunday, so I hope you don’t mind me posting some new ones of “Bella Limone”.

It looks really neat on the original stock rims too. But I thought lemons were yellow on the inside, not green? Must be a honeydew melon instead.
