I agree ,,most of us like working on these cars ,,so whats a little time and you can save a $200
If you buy a new console or a new console cover ,,it's pretty much a given that the color will not match what the rest of your car has due to sunshine and the elements .
I didn't feel like it was a hard job to do after getting help from the forum on what others did to get it done,,In fact Mark told me I did as good on my console as he had ever seen,, Thx Mark ..I also didn't think it was a long job ither,glue set up for me in 8 hours over night with the help of heated room . Heck ,if I can do it so can you ..
I didn't know that the color would be off so much until the console arrived and I sit in my car with the other Beige ,but at least it was the console in the middle of the car that was a little off color for a match .
I bought a used door arm rest and when I got it ,,it was not only off color beige it had a green tint to it so I elected to keep the one I had rather than put the one I bought on as it stuck out like a sore thumb.. Best to see the part in person as pictures does not show what you are getting ..
