fender removal

anyone have any pictures or documentation of removing the fender from the car?

i have no pictures, but i have removed many fenders from spiders. i recomend a good spot weld drill bit or 3. locate all of t he spot welds and drill them out, you can use a chisel to finish where the drill didnt get 100%. take your time, its not a race. removing the door, cowl pannel, rocker pannel are a must. the hardest part is the seam where the front valence attaches. a skilled bodyman can break that seam with an air chisel. just be careful. scrape off the tar mat at the cowl pannel, it will reveal some more welds. hope this helps

all you need is a 1/2 " drill and a few spot weld drill bits, could probably find those at eastwood.com, i have alwasy bought mine from snap-on, but they will probably have them
