Anyone else have one of these?

Post by CajunMike »

So I was looking through my spider the other day and came across this. Forgot I had it.

Eek, it's in French?

On an entirely weirdly and somewhat related subject, does that form mention the PTRA (poids total roulant) of the car?

For some reason, the Frenchie government wants to know what the GTW (Gross Train Weight) of the car is. WTF? It's not in any of the owner manuals or documentation. ;)

Actually, it's about 5% French - this was 1978 after all. It does identify "weight" as 2300 lbs. It also provides the weight of the trade-in vehicle, for some strange reason.

Wow, comparing the seventill's bill of sale to my sticker, this car's price doubled in four years!

My AM/FM MPX stereo Cassette radio was invoiced at $366.00 in California. Notice the estimated annual fuel cost based on $0.70 per gallon. Those were the days!

I dont have one but was happy to find an original receipt from one of the cars fill ups in 1978 (cars a 77). It is one of recipts that goes through the slide machine and makes an imprint of the card. Maybe I should contact the first PO and see if he is still around.

Why yes I do. Even have the original sales brochures that the original owner picked up in the sales room. Really cool to have that original invoice
