Started my car up today for the first time since November. It sat on jack stands all winter and it fired right up. Second crank!
Hooray for spring :D

Hey Folks,

Awesome the cars started right up. I've been dragging my feet on firing up the old beast. I've got some things to do around the house to get ready for a High School graduation for my daughter. I know how I operate. If the car or motorcycle are in the garage and functional and begging to be driven. I'm no where in sight to get things done. So, I'm leaving temptation under the covers for a short bit. But today was tough. 72 here in Korn Kountry.

NE Spider, Are we going to still connect some time this summer? Des Moines or points west maybe?

Definitely. I need to finish up a few more things like new transmission oil and my differential needs a new gasket then she's back on the road. I have a new(to me) top to put on and Id really like to tackle a new dash this summer.
This winter I rebuilt the brakes, put on fresh tailing arms, and a new ebrake cable. I also took of my front bumper and left the shocks in place then rotated them 45 degrees and put rubber on the front of them. I also saw that someone else on here (spiderjim maybe?) put some plastic tubing over the gas shock part to clean up the look which I did as well.

Cool, Start a new thread and post some pictures. I'd love to see the bumper delete. I really want to do that to mine, but I haven't quite found the look I want yet. I've seen some I like, but nothing's jumped out at me yet to say, Hey that's what I've got to do. Haven't seen what you described.
