Hello all,
I've been pricing out getting the seats redone (mine are ok, just look a bit worn out).
I stumbled across someone selling this today:
http://www.leboncoin.fr/vi/104141021.htm?ca=21_s
It's basically the entire interior set - front / back seats, side panels, headrests, etc. 700 euro (about 900 USD). Not sure if it's pleather, leather or vinyl, I'll call and find out.
Anyone that has bought something like this? Can you do this yourself? How's the prices stateside?
Thanks!

It looks like a pretty nice set from the pic. I had a local shop recover the seats in my car, partly because I wanted cloth inserts. I think World Upholstery has been used by a member or two.

Re: Seat Covers / Redoing Interior Upholstery
I recently installed an upholstery set in my Spider. I give details and photos of the finished product at http://www.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic ... upholstery
It can be done by a do-it-yourselfer if you take your time and know how to use hog rings and hog ring pliers. The seats must be disassembled to install the seat covers, but it isn't anything tough to do all in all.
Getting everything to fit right can be a challenge if you're going for a factory look depending upon how wll the mounting points were sewn. I had to do some extensive modifications to get the World Upholstery kit to fit right.
In your picture, I don't recognize the door panels. It appears to be a 78 CS1 and older design, but the door panels look unfinished.
Cost for World Upholstery was $399. Not a bad price, but the color choices were really limited. The tan that I bought was a perfect match to the original in my 79. I
