Hood Badges

Post by NJFIAT1981 »

Hi all,
I am having my 1980 painted and I am trying to decide which hood badges to install. The color of theSpider will be azzura blue. I was also trying to find center caps fot the 14" turbo wheels that match the hood badges. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help. George

Hi Brady,
All is well. Are you coming on the 11th for breakfast? Nice center caps. Trying to find something that matches. George

George, I like the Pinin Farina hood/deck lid badge with the "F" , #90017, page 82 of the international parts book you gave me

I just made these and magnetically attached them. I have another set that I made which are solid Gun Metal to match the wheels that I can replace for auto shows within one minute. I prefer the solid GM finish has it makes the wheel look more sinister. Everyone else says the one shown in pics match better because of the silver backdrop with Gun Metal raised text. Also painted my badges in metallic gun metal for an exact match to the wheels and the rest of the trim. Have some new GM colored F badges being worked on with jewels in the crown with a matching key chain fob. Who said I'm anal??

Old camera so could not pickup the hammered/forged back ground..

I went with late model black and silver deck emblems. I think it matches the style of my car better than the original.
