Well,I am back down to 2 Fiats Mike B. and Doug arrived early this morning.I scraped the ice off my 76 and drove to town to meet them and have them follow me to the house.It was love at first sight with Doug and the red 80.He walked around,looked it over,handed the check and started loading his stuff! He said he didnt need to drive it,he was getting ready to put in 650 miles.Elial and I led them to the Tennesee road that led back to the Interstate(40 miles).We stopped and Mike said they had a problem...Doug couldnt wipe the grin off his face.They called at lunch in Kentucky,texted me later that they were having dinner in Cinncinati and were getting 24 mpg at 80 mph.Car was running flawlessly.I cant tell you how happy I am that it went well.I was really worried that they were trusting my judgement and buying sight unseen and then making such a long ride.
I know Mike B may come off a little hard in some posts,but he is one of the most personable,funny people you could ever come across.Doug is going to be a great addition to the Fiat family...he is going to FFO in July!A great day with fantastic weather.Only bad thing...my camera puked so I didnt get any pix.I will see if Mike will post some.

I don't think Mike comes off hard on any posts. He seems to me to be an extremely knowlegeable and passionate Fiat enthusiast who has some definite views on some matters. And while I don't always agree with some of his views, I sure appreciate seeing them. I particularly appreciate, and miss, seeing his advice and guidance on matters Fiat.
Hope he returns soon!!!
