"it's obvious Alvon hides that girly figure under baggy clothes most of the time"
Ahem . . . I thought we had a pact not to post that one! Ha -- good fun! I may just have to get you back one of these days . . .
My thanks to all the great drivers that drove the twisty roads without incident. It was a real test for brakes, and the Fiat brakes seemed to work well for all. We had something interesting happen in the lead car, when we came around one of the blind curves and startled a red-tailed hawk that was on the side of the road. It took flight toward the road, so I swerved to miss it, as it then flew right along side of us for 50' or so, just inches from the passenger vent window. My navigator Kim could have reached out and petted it as we drove along! Did you notice that, Mark (since you were right behind me)?

From what I hear, Kim was busy either covering her eyes or hanging on for her life, so she was a bit too preoccupied to pet a bird!ventura ace wrote:My navigator Kim could have reached out and petted it as we drove along! Alvon

that hawk was right in front of my windshield for a few seconds, flapping like all-get-out to stay in front of me. I didn't lift, so he swerved off and let me go by
