how you making out fiasco
Just kind wondering how your trials and tribulations are going? Any sign of another fiat in the near future?

Re: how you making out fiasco
As is usually the case, things aren't working out like I'd hoped.
The insurance company did finally pay off. As luck would have it, the payoff came 4 days after I did my 2009 taxes and discovered that instead of my typical refund, I owe a big chunk to the state of California. Why? Who knows. So my long anticipated Fiat money has now become tax bill money, and the Fiat piggy bank is going to have to be filled from other sources. I took on an additional teaching job this quarter, so I've got probably 2 or 3 months of saving to do before I'll have enough to buy another car.

That's a bummer, Steve. I guess somone has to pay the CA deficit so the state doesn't go under water. This economy is affecting many states. I haven't done my taxes yet, but I'm sure I won't be a happy camper when I do.
