Topless Trio

Post by Exit98 »

We had a little party Sunday at my place. NJFIAT 1981 (George) and LANCIAHF (Ralph) came by in their Spiders to see my new one. It was a perfect afternoon, a little brisk, but the tops were down. We headed to the Spring Lake beachfront and joined the all the folks shaking off their cabin fever.

That's not me driving my yellow Fiat. It's my best friend's son and his wife. I was with Ralph.

It's been a long snowy winter around here, but the snow's gone now, I hope we've seen the last of it. 14 days to spring.

8:20 PM EST Fixed the picture size.

Here's some pictures:

Very very nice! Your car looks great, and I too love that green interior. You might have to keep those young folk as the drivers though, 'cause they look good in the car, and are having a great time if I read the smiles right.

Looks like great fun...but what's up with you Yanks not having any snow left? I still have snow in front of my house. I have been driving my X19 every chance I get with the weather finally hitting the 60s.

Hello all,
I can attest that Doug throws a nice party. We also went for a lovely ride to the beach. A very nice time. Doug had a hard time getting the keys back from his friends son and wife. You were right Doug that's a great pic of them in your car. The car looks better in person. It is a rust free example. Very nice. Good luck with it. George

68000 miles on the spider with early bumpers

My new yellow one says 45K, but I'm betting it's 145K.

PO doesn't know, but I do know from his records that he put on about 10K in the 9 years or so he owned it.

With a title like "Topless Trio" I was expecting something even more exciting! This will suffice... Very nice Spiders!

The blue 1980 to the left with the tube bumpers has 48,000 original miles. Purchased it from the original owner. I was expecting something else from the title. But it was a fun day.
