Re: Spring fever.....pictures
Thank you! The color is the same grey that Porsche has been using for years. I will have to ask my body guy what brand. I know he used a base coat- clear coat system. The dash Is a mahogany veneer. I was actually thinking of re-doing the dash to try and replicate the dash that has been so often talked about on this forum. I have some Brazilian cherry wood that I have had laying around the house and have been toying with the idea of spending some time in the wood shop in stead of the garage.
The tires are 195/55/15. Spacers intact. Springs are IAP. The chrome on the back is trim molding from Napa Auto Parts. It is sold by the box and is pricey. I purchased a roll of it a couple of years ago when I refurbished my boat interior. May have some left if you are interested?

wow, that car is flat gorgeous. Glad it's all together! What bumper blocks did you use?
Re: Spring fever.....pictures
I think we're all drooling!
Is that a radiator expansion tank in the engine compartment? That's a near perfect, clean car. Great job!

Thanks Mark! Those are the European version. About a year ago a guy across the boarder was selling a car on EBay and in his description said he had a set he was including with the car. So I contacted him and he sold them to me for what I thought was a fair price. we sprayed them with truck bed liner and was very happy with the finish. So Cal Mark wrote:wow, that car is flat gorgeous. Yes, that is an expansion tank. Thank you for the compliment! I have said it before, and I will say it again....Mark Allison is the man.Newell33 wrote:I think we're all drooling!

That car is heavily influenced by Mark, and he has been a great help throughout the entire project....along with all the folks on this forum.
Thank you

Re: Spring fever.....pictures
Thank you. I just keep coming to the thread to look at the photos. Wow. This is as close as what I want to do mine, but you went all in man! Wow! Everything in that engine looks new, every bracket, every hose, every sensor and connectors.... Every tricked out part is there. Really like the chrome trim in the back. Interior combo of black and ran... even the steering wheel (I have had that one on my wish list months before starting to look at a car). The level of detail in that car is immense...kuhndg wrote:Thanks...sent PM.wachuko wrote:DANG!!!! Speechless... Awesome!

Enjoy it in good health. Outstanding! , it really pumps me up to get mine done quickly... but I doubt I will do it to that level of cleaness, it would take me years!!... wow...
