For all you Florida guys

Post by ga.spyder »

I have been in contact with a guy in the Orlando area named Rich Wagner, who is really enthusiastic about reviving the dormant FLA-FLU.I know some of you were contacted by him or met him at Safety Harbor. For those who didnt or are interested, his contact info is vagrone@me.com
With as many cars as you have already, this would be an excellent chapter.Rich is a good guy and just wants to see the cars appreciated. He told me he has a lift at his house and would be glad to help with projects. If any of you know a guy named 'Dizzy' who was having issues at the show, have him contact Rich.He said he would pick his car up with his trailer and bring it to his house for repair.

Wow! That's 2 guys with garage lifts in Orlando (Wachuko is the other). I'll send him an email.

I don't recall seeing dizzy fingers at the Italian Fest in Safety Harbor, but he's a member on this forum.

I have been wondering what happened to Dizzy. when we talked to Rich at the show we figured out it was Dizzy that broken down on the way there. I have not seen any posts on this site from him since that show. I hope all is ok.

Ouch! That really sucks! :(

I will send him a pm. The rear end in my parts car is in good condition and I just changed the gasket and oil in it. Local and should get his car on the road quickly. We can even do the swap at my place.

Let me try to reach him.

Edit: PM and Email sent. I hope he gets it. We can get the car running this weekend.

I think Dizzy picked up a '78 parts car from Jacksonville. He may part out that one as well.

That is great, I hope he get the car back on the road quickly. Let's see if I hear from him, the offer is still there if he wants me to help and have use of the lift.

Well I hope someone with the extra time can start a club in Florida. I think it would be a lot of fun. I belong to the Florida Land Rover club and we have a great time at rallies. Although I think our Fiat rallies may be a bit different. One of my favorite trips is watching the sun rise and having breakfast on the East coast and then driving to the West coast to watch it set and have dinner.

The Florida Alfa group also lets Fiat owners join there club. I am not sure about the Middle Florida Alfa club but I know the 2 groups work together alot.
