I did a post in Off Topic on why would anyone in their right mind spend the time cleaning all the undercoating from the bottom of a car. Everyne was supportive and said it was a good idea to find any hidden rust. Well I didn't find any hidden problems. I applied new rubberized undercoating and didn't like the color it turned out. Black with a red tint. So now I have repainted the underside of the car with gloss black(gloss might be easier to clean). Then I didn't like the look of black wheelwells. So now they are metalic silver. Does it ever end? here are pictures. All of my modifications are now on the car hopefully for the last time. Coil overs on the rear, polyuerthane bushings in all rear suspension, all new rear brakes, new crossmember, rack and pinion steering, semi coil over front, Honda brakes with drilled rotors in front. Once the engine is back in I can adjust both front and rear to any height I want.

Hi Halg,
Great job
What brakes are you running? They look like vented disks

Re: Under Car
That does look great! I would like to do that with my car, it definitely would prolong the life of it quite a bit. Sadly every time I bring the Spider into my dad's barn to work on it his project car is pushed back some. I think I'll let him use his own barn for once...
