Anyone know of a good repair technique for a leaking fuel sender float? Can't find a replacement in IAP or Vicks and don't need the whole sending unit as it works fine. I tried sealing what I thought was a pinhole but it only worked a few weeks. Suggestions appreciated or better yet- anyone have one they can part with? Thanks
Tom

I am just thinking out loud, but you can also drill a small hole and squirt in some expanding foam. I know it floats, but you would just have to make sure it is resistant to gasoline.

I bought one from Vicks back in November, it was $5 (plus shipping, so buy something else at the same time). Not on the site, but I asked and they had it.

Thanks - I called Vicks today and it (and some other stuff) is on the way. Guess It does help to ask!
