Has anyone ever had their roll bar chromed?

I read on one of these post they had a chrome roll bar. Do you have a back seat? I have kids and I need to cushion that bar. Just a thought.

So the rear seat is still usable with a roll bar in place? I also have two kids that we take everywhere we go (reason there can't be any sports car at home without rear seats...)

Yes I have a daughter but I make her wear a helmet when she rides with us:shock: I have thought about that issue but I am still toying with the idea of a chrome roll bar possibly with some removable matching pads to the interior when she rides with us.

bungee cords are very useful. strap the kids to the roll bar with a bungee cord or two!

years ago we had one chromed, and then it no longer fit the car. When they polished it, there was so much heat generated it bent the bar. That was the last time we used that chrome shop.
But my other thought is; chrome bar+sunny day is a great opportunity to fry little kids body parts

Just think if your hair is thinning on top. You'll get a good burn
