It's not often we can point fingers (from here) and joke about snow. This is a novelty. Hopefully it'll all melt in a day or two. Most of the winter I'm sitting here all jealous of Texas' weather.

my daughter (a life-long michigan resident) just moved to South Carolina this past fall.

she just wrote me this a.m. via email. she is rolling on the floor laughing. apparently, they've shut down S.C. for the threat of snow. apparently, S.C. has found the snow that Vancouver misplaced.

Don't be jealous, but it was 64 today and sunny. We're expecting the same tomorrow, so the top went down on the car, I repaired my convertible top boot and installed it and the car goes out for a drive in mid-day!!!!

Payback will come this summer when it is 102 degrees. Those in Arizona may be the only ones envious of that. BTW, the ride in the car was so awesome yesterday! I stopped at Kragen Auto Supply to dump off my used oil for recycling and a guy in a 77 Carerra convertible stopped and talked cars with me. He loved my Spider (I was beaming of course) and mentioned his wife REALLY wants one.

Spitting snow, rain, sleet and freezing rain the other day. Temps in the mid 20's. We expect this weather for about a week in the winter, but I've had snow somewhere on the ground since the week before Christmas. I've procrastinated long enough waiting for the weather to cooperate that I've broken down and turned the heat on in the shop to work on the X19.

Denise, we feel for you out west. Guess you'll have some heat though when you head out west and meet goofy, micky and the boys.
Today the sun came out.
