Lucky you. We're expecting snow Friday, Saturday and Monday. I'm beginning to get grouchy.

I don't know where we can put any more of the stuff ... 40+" in the last week. No residential collapses yet, but a few metal commercial buildings. I'm gonna have to get a pennant to fly from my aerial like they do in Minnesota (and Oceano)!

Frozen treat, anyone?

What is it you people say, Swede? "There's no such thing as bad weather ... just improper clothing." Bah, humbug!

I have been in DC this whole week, and ran across this time lapse video of the first snowstorm to hit last weekend. Very interesting how snowfall changes things with time/weight. The evegreen tree in the background almost looks like it is some sort of monster or something out of a horror movie.

Snow timelapse.

OK sports fans - we are about to welcome the world to Vancouver/Whistler tomorrow for the Winter Olympic Games and it's raining like it's never rained before around here. They are having to get snow to the snowboard venues by truck and helicopter. Kinda funny isn't it. We could have used some of that East Coast snow!!

lol. I don't know how you guys manage up north with snow all winter long. We ended up with 8-10" inches of it in 2 days and the whole city shuts down. :D
