haha, had to laugh at that one "needs only body work, paint job and mechanical refreshing". Glad to hear the 45 year old seat upholstery is good. Until you sit on it and it splits apart. Sounds like a restoration to me

i'm not sure about that model year, but a guy here at WEST MICHIGAN FLU has one of those from 1959, and the rear seats actually fold into the floor. hmm... does that sound familiar?

"1960 Fiat 600 Multipla. This is a "RUST FREE" Fiat with a perfect body. It has only 1 small dent in the left rear corner. I have most of the parts to finish it like all the rubber and trim pieces. It needs only a paint job and mech. refreshing to be a cool classic. Call for details Mike 904 514 8684 "

Ya and I would be a perfect man if you just fix that one little flaw on my rearend too! :P

You just gotta love peoples perspectives don't you?

A guy in our local FLU has one of those as well. It's actually quite roomy inside. I kinda like them. Also, their is one on ebay right now. Although, I bet this one is NOT rust free as the posting says. It should read rust free from the outside or appears to be rust free. The local guy said that the front cross member on these are really weak and will come apart or bend over time.

One of our Ottawa guys owns the Multipla that we saw at FFO. You do not want to know how much it cost him to restore! But everyone enjoyed it and people were taking turns napping in the back - very cool.

I think the Mulitpla came in 2 seat configurations. One type folded down into a bed the other type folded away for storage.
