Forgive me Fiat Gods: Bought a '98 VW Golf GL

Bought my second car on Saturday. Giving my father my Fiat so he can put it under classic insurance, still gonna keep it as I did a lot of work on it. Probably will replace the dash with a new beige one eventually.

Just wanted something with more room, so I can fit my friends. Anyway else have a golf? Thoughts on them?:)

Had a new then 83 gti, loved it, I sold my first spider to buy it. Also had the wabbit truck, loved it too. The golfs are fun cars.

Yeup, I bought a 92 this past spring. I have a 35 km(one way) commute and was getting about 4 days with the expedition, then around $100 to fill. Now for $50 I'm getting on average 600 kms. Its a 5 speed plenty of zip for zooting around town and easy to work on. I had a few issues at the start but a new set of plugs and plug wires and good to go. Love em recomend one to anybody.
