Dipstick Problem solved

OK, I just thought I would put this picture up for critisim. I solved the dipstick bracket problem with my manifold swap out for 97 cent at Home Depot. It's pretty sturdy and does not look all that bad. But, I'll let you be the judge of that.

looks like a very good job. sturdy, which is key to keep that oil from sloshing around out that dipstick tube hole in the crank.

I did use a small bead of hight temp silicone on top of that rubber grommet. I just could not help my self.

I dunno - prolly use it when I eventually remove the motor I guess.

Yes, as you can see, I chose yellow because it went with the timing cover. No other reason. Although, it looks better than it did when I got it. I'll show you the cleaned and painted throttle linkage soon. It is yellow as well.
