I can't help but post this... Most wives know perfectly well how to use a credit card and buy their husband the latest technological toy. My wife, bless her heart, made this for me while she had three broken fingers. A counted cross stitch Fiat, set in front of our little town Seattle.

Paook,
Very nice gift and I'm sure you'll cherish it for a long time.
Regarding Seattle... I really do miss the Seattle area... I owned a house in Mill Creek and hung out at Alki Beach, U District, and the Pike Place Market... of course the Seattle Center was another hot spot during festivals for us... I'd move again to Seattle but it wouldn't be the same as it was fun when my two children were tiny tots... now they're in college, the memories wouldn't be the same.

Wow, I'm lucky my wife doesn't bang her car door into my spider. She hates it
Re: Christmas gift from wife
She loves our Fiats, even though they are both garaged for an indefinite time while our little boy keeps us too busy. She has owned only Fiats, two dull modern ones and now these old beauties. I actually didn't care two hoots about Fiat until she talked me into looking at one she found on Craigslist.

Verrry nice. And it makes me homesick. We lived all around Seattle, then Lake Stevens. I sure miss the Northwest.

It seems like there are a moderate amount of Fiats here up in the northwest. I've got one too, and it doesn't seem to make any sense owning one on those far too frequent rainy days, but there's something about that car I guess that's brainwashed all of the north-westerners into keeping it.
