old Road & Track magazines

My nephew came across some old Road & Track Magazines. Below is a list of the issue and article title.

June 1970 "Fiat 124, MGB,TR-6, Porsche914 Comparison Test"

June 1976 " Comparison Test: 6 Affordable Sports Cars"

November 1978 " Used Car Classic: Fiat 124 Sport Coupe & Spider"

July 1979 " Tests: Fiat X1/9 1500 5-Speed & 2000 Spider"

October 1981 " Tested: Fiat Turbo Spider & Subaru GL"

I found all of the articles very interesting. Especially knowing the general attitude toward Fiat in those years was negative all the articles were very positive toward Fiats.

Thought it might be of interest to others.

I will try and copy them this week at work. Most of the photo's are pretty dark and the page paper is also a little dark. So I'm not sure how good it will be.

I don't believe I've ever seen an article that trashed the Fiats in their day. Just like any other car, if they're taken care of, they'll serve you well.

It would be cool to scan and post them, but might be copyright issues with this. Maybe R&T would give permission for non-commercial use.
