You always have to look carefully.
In the first one, if you look at the interior pic...on the bottom right corner of the pic you can see the drivers seat bolter, and it's cracked all to hell. Wonder why it looks this bad if the car had a total restoration.

And it puzzles me why someone wouldn't dry the water before taking pictures -- unless trying to hide something about the paint condition. Curious . . . does the upper radiator hose look collapsed? For the price, I'd expect perfection, or pretty darn close to it.
This may be an excellent car. If so, a little more effort in the presentation would help the sale.

In my mind, the way people take their pic's is to hide what they don't want you to see. Good catch on the first one. And I'm sure the water drops are hiding a lot. Not many pic's with the second. Maybe they were afraid to show the issues with the car. That's a lot of money for a car and for it to have issues is rediculous.

boy you guys are a tough sell. The first car has a pretty nice reflection in the paint and the water droplets show the quality of the wax job. remember, they listed in Canadian money, so the real price is about $500 US.

Actually Mark the Can dollar is just about par, a couple of pennies difference right now. Great for us buying stuff down there. So Cal Mark wrote:remember, they listed in Canadian money, so the real price is about $500 US.
These prices are rather daft in my opinion. BUT there are alot of people with deep pockets in TO and perhaps the seller might get lucky in getting close to the selling price. If I was looking, I'd be glancing over these and onto the cars for a 1/4 to 1/3 that price and do some sorting myself, saying that ,the last two were $400 and $500 and I have alot of sorting to do but I did not want to see these 2 crushed.

I've been noticing lately that spider's in and around the Toronto area that are "decent" are going for around the 5-8K range unless you're buying from Andy's spiders and then you're paying 15-30k.

I was just having fun with the Looney, I'm well aware of the exchange rate these days
