Very little of the book is numbers and tables - plenty of discussion about the evolution of the engine and the various vehicles which used it, up to the Fiat Coupe. A good book to dip into.

I got this book for Christmas to add to my Fiat library. I think it is excellent. It does talk about more than just the Fiat 124, it chronicles every car that featured the same Lampredi-designed twin-cam. There are some excellent books out there on our Spiders, but this one easily contends for my personal favorite. If you've read the late Paul Frere's 'Porsche 911 Story', this reads very much the same way.. it is a very complete account and very well detailed with good photos and info.
This book is not 'fluffy' in any way. It is clear, concise, and packed with info. It's not the cheapest book out there, but no proper Fiat 124 library is complete without it, I must say.
