Got it out today. Thanks for all the tips from every one.

I ended up getting a sawzall and cutting out the upper radiator support. Lifted the engine with the hoist and the whole shebang tiled up nicely. Pulled it right out with just a little wiggling. I have some pics to post, but they are on my son's phone so I'll have to wait till he gets home to post them.

Congratulations! As I recall OUT is much easier than IN! Sorry I checked in to late to contribute. I recall just using a piece of strap and a stick wired up to compress the donut on mine; The ol' twisty clamp as it were. Its amazing what you can hold that way. - Bob

Good going, Steve! Cutting that radiator support may be the ticket. I may try that on my next assembly removal. :shock: :P
