Sorry I didn't get back quicker. I am in Pasadena, if you didn't get it out on Sunday maybe we could get together early in the week.

Re: Removing Engine/Trans - Need the benefit of others' experien
Got it out today. Thanks for all the tips from every one.
I ended up getting a sawzall and cutting out the upper radiator support. Lifted the engine with the hoist and the whole shebang tiled up nicely. Pulled it right out with just a little wiggling. I have some pics to post, but they are on my son's phone so I'll have to wait till he gets home to post them.
Thanks again!

Congratulations! As I recall OUT is much easier than IN! Sorry I checked in to late to contribute. I recall just using a piece of strap and a stick wired up to compress the donut on mine; The ol' twisty clamp as it were. Its amazing what you can hold that way. - Bob

Here are the pics. Forgot to mention that Ryan came by towards the end of the process. Was good to catch up with him for a bit.

Before cutting the upper radiator support.
After cutting out the support (to make room for pulling out the engine).
Pics of the engine/trans actually coming out.

Good going, Steve! Cutting that radiator support may be the ticket. I may try that on my next assembly removal.
