Alright.... somebody teach me something, will ya?
I went over to Guy Croft's site for a minute... and while that forum is FULL of awesome info, it seems there's a knowledge-base that is "assumed".... when browsing.
So here's a basic one:
Where does this 16v engine come from, that everyone is talking about? As far as I knew, the Lampredi was / is only an 8v?
What am I missing?
'cuz they're talking about 200+hp from the 16v...... which makes me chuckle at the lowest regions of my belly......
8v vs 16v ??

Go and Google - the Fiat / Lancia Integrale cars and their 16V engines, turbo chargers and AWD systems.
The blocks ar ethe same as our Fiat engines, however the heads are 16V and the configuration is swapped around, inlet of the right and exhaust on the left.

in 1974 the first 16v was used in the Rally of 1000 Lakes in Finland ( finished 6th).
Head made by Colluci & Lampredi.
produced 210 bhp.
with twin 44 Webers and 1839cc
