Thanks for the well-wishes. I made it my kind of day - took the silver 124 coupe down to the local hardware store for some retail therapy with my 2 1/2 yo daughter, then had some friends (all with kids too now) around for a barbecue and played board games until the wee hours. The 'dirty turds' don't seem too bad so far!
