What's wrong with this picture?

Post by mdrburchette »

Ron and I helped a fellow with a job and moved him down from Minnesota this week. Last night, when I came home from a gokart race, I found this in the yard. Evidently, southern snow is a lot trickier than people realize. He just slid right off the driveway and backed into my persimmon tree.

Wow Ron, you have a good memory. Actually, it was my daughter's driveway but we have the same slant.
Narfire, that's my tiller. With the extension on the shed, we'll have a good place to move it.
I'm wondering about the contractors in California Mark. Do those hills even look safe to build on? What a terrible loss.

Everyone is missing the most important question here, was the persimmon tree injured?

For those of you who have never had it southern style persimmon pudding is a treat, time consuming to make and a unique taste that has no comparison.

You got it Toby. I believe my tree will survive and the deer will have plenty to fight me for. BTW, I went to the grocery store a few weeks ago and found some Walkertown locally grown persimmons that were as big as tomatoes! I had to get a couple to see how they were.
