Yesterday I took my now completed Spidy for rego inspection. After last minute repairs to lighting I drove out of the garage
and headed via the two major sets of lights the three block to the garage. Air temp was somewhere in the 110 deg area and I was a little concerned about stopping at the lights etc. However, they were all green and I made it without problem. After an hour or so filling out forms I was given my rego approval. I went home via a different route (about 2 mile) and what a difference between the 5 speed and the auto.....more torque and better acceleration. Very impressed..and did I get some looks !!!!!!
I would like to thank this Forum and all the help and advice I have received from contributers, and a special thanks to Manoa Matt who has been very generous with advice, pics and providing me with all those pain in the ass bits that no one else would bother with. I still have a lot of bits to do but am looking forward to some driving in this totally different beast.
Once again Mark, thanks for the Forum and to all those new to the Spider family...all the answers are here...Use it !!!!
A very happy Festive and holiday season to you all.
Baz
