I found this site with lots of info and pics on various cars. There is a section or brochures. The 83 Spider German brochure is interesting. I haven't seen one in that color and the interior fabric/color combo is unusual too.

Those are slip-on seat covers that were an option. I guess it was for the lady that liked wearing short skirts on hot days. The factory shots are rather interesting though.

The text says that the seat covers are terry cloth and are a Pininfarina exclusive design, matching interior and car colors.

I remember seeing that picture with the terry cloth headrests and thinking "Geez, Pininfarina went through a lot of trouble to design a car that has a "timeless design" only to screw it up with some earth tone interior finishes that really date the car.
