The Gathering in celebration Florida was done by a Alfa club. Fiat Lancia Unlimited Florida is getting back on track. Richard Wagner is the President. You can contact him vagone@me.com. PM me for his cell phone number.

Hey Abey, When are the Dixie Fest and the FFO gatherings next summer? I'd like to meet all the people I've been "talking to" and put faces with the names. The Carolina's are not that far from me.

The 2010 FFO will be held July 8-11 in beautiful Asheville, NC. Our host hotel will be the Crowne Plaza http://www.ashevillecp.com . I believe everyone will be quite pleased with the amenities, including a brand new Expo center that's practically large enough to park our cars in while we dine.
The weekend will be filled with various drives and events, including an autocross and a trip to the infamous Tail Of The Dragon, an 11 mile stretch of road that boasts 318 curves. http://www.tailofthedragon.com/
The showsite will be held on the Biltmore House grounds with special ticket pricing for FLU members to enjoy a tour of the famous Biltmore home. If you have never visited the house, this will be a perfect opportunity. It is an awesome tour and something you won't want to miss. Heck, there's also a winery right on the grounds we can all visit to get in the right mood!
I am definitely looking forward to 2010 FFO. http://www.biltmore.com/

Since the FFO is going to be held in North Carolina, I have decided to move the date of my Dixie Fiatfest to September. I am considering Labor Day weekend but would like some input as to whether that would be wise or not. My plans for the Fiatfest include our Friday night gokart race at the Greensboro indoor track. You boys are going to have to hone those driving skills if you're planning to beat a girl. Might as well start practicing. 8)
Saturday will be reserved for a scenic filled time/distance rally. Instead of ending at my house, I'm planning to end the rally at a local Chrysler dealership where they have promised to furnish us with lunch. We will congregate with the local vintage Mopar clan and be able to show our cars side by side to the community.
Sunday will feature our annual autocross at the Wake Forest BB&T Field parking lot with the help of the vintage BMW 2002 boys. We really are going to have to beat those boys at their own game, so sharpen up those tires for the event!

I will make further announcements as they become available and I hope to see many of you at these two events.
