Thanksgiving

Post by zachmac »

Just a note to say that one of the things I am thankful (there are many) is this forum. I haven't had the car all that long but I feel like I have "known" many people on this site for years. I have found everyone polite, helpful and knowledgable. Their is NO flaming, name throwing or similar crap that I have seen on lots of other forums. Just a lot of helpful folks that are obviously enthusiats first! It is indeed a real pleasure to be able to share fun, knowledge, frustrations, and little victories with this crowd. Thanks to all and happy Thanksgivng!

Thanks for the reminder of the many good things in our lives to be thankful for. This Forum our Fiats and friends we have never actually met.

God Bless everyone.

:P Another note to be thankful of is the Fiat functions that are held so we all have a chance to finally meet one another :!:

Just having your FIAT running and not up on jack stands in the garage is something to be thankful for! :D

I wanted to also say, 'thanks' for the new friends made here and of course for any of the advice that I have received as well as that which I will receive over the coming year as I get Sophie ready for a very nice Springtime!

Being that a couple of other comments have been made along the lines of being thankful for forums such as this so we can actually talk with enthusiasts without (in some cases) ever really meeting them - I got to wondering...has it ever been attempted to have some sort of FiatSpider.com grand meeting of the enthusiasts at some location that as many of us as possible could drive, tow, or otherwise just come to with our fantastic Italian vehicles?
I realize this forum is world-wide, and the U.S. alone is large...but I am looking forward to some good times and significant drives to be had and would be up for attending some events.

At any rate, hope everyone has an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday.

I think that FFO is as close as we get, although it is more of a Eastern-Midwest event. There are many people here who have been so helpful that I have never had any more contact than a phone call or email.I still count them as my friends!Hell,I even have a brother from another mother here..Ron Luxmore!! :D Thanks everybody !!!

I thought I was just getting back to owning a Spider. Little did I know that it would lead to meeting such a swell bunch.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Now, I need some help. I've finished dinner and I can't get up.
