Mobile/PDA Friendly Option

Post by Foster48x »

Is it possible to create a mobile/pda friendly option on the site?

Something like what these guys are discussing.

I have an iPhone and can use the forum with no trouble. It's a little inconvenient to zoom in and out to be able to touch some of the small links, but that's a function of the size of the screen, so I'm willing to deal with it. I'm just happy there's no Flash involved.

I've been surfing this forum with my blackberry, as well.
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!

I use my Ipod Touch here almost every day, I usually prefer the p.c sites to the downgraded mobile sites.

I've been searching the site occasionally on a PSP. The browser on it only seems to have problems processing the board index and link pages from this site. Once you open a thread everything looks just as it does on a PC. It may have something to do with the way the PSP translates the frames and color backgrounds on FS.com. Anyway, I've been on other forums that have options in the individual user settings to change the way the board can be viewed and just thought I'd see if it was a option here.

It's really no big deal but if it's a quick (which nothing ever is) fix it would be nice.
