I am sorry Mike, but what does that mean? Your spider is not insured anymore? Which Spider?

yeah, next year will be crazy busy after receiving a fresh paint job from the painter.... putting all those parts back on in time for FIAT FREAK OUT.

i saw last night that Minnesota had snow, and heard a report for some possible snow tomorrow here in Michigan. so, i figgered it was time to pull the plug on the season for the '80... the '78 was put away two weeks ago.

It's times like these that I find reason to stay in AZ. November to May is perfect. 75 degrees out right now. :D
Too bad I don't have a Spider to drive :(
Oh well, next year!

... Sorry about your loss, Mike.

I know snow has to be just around the corner, though we have been getting away with the warmest, longest, dryest fall I can remember. Still driving with the top down today - it can't last like this much longer.

Ah, I got it now. Thanks for the explanation Jeff. I live in S. Florida, so I am a bit unaccustomed to such formalities.

Mike, I feel for ya. Hang in there. Before you know it, it'll be time for FFO!

Welcome to my world Mike. I haven't driven here since I bought her. And if I knew there was hardly a floor in it . I wouldn't have driven her then. On the bright side. Wait! There is no bright side. :?

here in Calif, you can't stop insuring your car or else DMV cancels your registration :x

right. here in michigan i can choose to have a variety of levels of insurance. i have cancelled the collision coverage, and maintain what is called comprehensive.... which protects the owner from losses associated with act of God, nature, involuntary collisions with stupid deer, glass breakage, or other non-operational incidents that might occur like what you could imagine in storage.

i have basically told the agent that it is in storage, and he'll adjust coverage appropriately.

Here in South Texas we are jsut entering spider season. Lot's of dry, low humidity, sunny and warm (but not killer hot) days from now until May. We'll be thinking of our northern breathen.....

Ya, that's a neat trick they have now. I guess it's good if it keeps some uninsured scumbags off the road, but it sucks that I just paid 6 mos insurance on a car that won't move for 6 mos. :x I did drop it down to the lowest possible coverage.

yeah same here. My insurance agent even suggested I keep comp on it during the winter but it is reported to the state that I dont have liability so they sent me a notice wanting to know if it was inop or sold. They would have cancelled my registration if I didn't put the liability back on.
By the way my youngest son took her out for a spin with the top down today in the cold cold 30 degree air but hey it was sunny.
