i flushed it got 2 pounds of rust and dirt....rinsed it and changed all hoses and filters.....got a new fuel pump and it runs fine....next project is cam upgrades and exaust....and roll bar...but where is a good spot for a roll bar...not exactly alot of space behind the seat....and im also gonna take the front & rear bumpers off and run my pipes out of the rear holes and put fog lights in the front holes...and paint it 1999 corvette nassau blue with silver stripes....im open to other ideas so let me know what else may this thing apart from the rest...also can i get digital gauges for this too...its an old car but i really dont care about destrying the value by not keeping it origanal...

you're going to route the exhaust up through the bumper mounting hole? That will take some creative bending!

I did the same thing with my Special TC tank and the rust kept coming back! I couldn't find another tank, so I used a JC Whitney re-line kit and it worked great! Your rust problem may not be over, but I hope that it is.
