For those with a BC Coupe, I would appreciate a short feedback on the approximate mounting location and orientation of the inertial reel for the shoulder belt, if yours is so equipped. I'm converting from 3-pt static to (hopefully) 4-pt inertial* and hope the extra mounting point is already there and tapped (I assume so). The static belts are mounted outboard on the lower door frame (ahead of the b-pillar) and just below the window at the b-pillar.
* i.e. the usual two lap belt mounts, reel and b-pillar pivot, not a 4-pt harness
As the carpets and interior trim are so well mounted in my car**, I'd like to know which one I need to work on before making a mess of the whole thing!
* initial exploration under the carpet at the front showed no rust in the floorboards. I was amazed...
