I don't mean to offend but..... back on topic...... I have been posing this question to other Fiat friends and over on the mira site as well and have been getting conflicting information that I hope to clear up. Some have said that this swap will work with the small bump hood and the 78's cross member as long as the distributor is rotated. Also, I hear that I will have to swap the gas tanks and some imply that I will have to change out the hard fuel lines too. So, since I have conflicting information I would like to get some more opinions and hopefully call out someone who has done this before.

In addition, I am still trying to get some idea of the items that I will need to purchase in order to pull this off. I know the flex disk, timing belt (might as well do it while the engine is out), fuel lines, fuel filters........ what else? I know I am missing a lot of stuff.

Finally, what tools will need outside of the normal wrenches, sockets and screwdrivers? I know the engine hoist, jack stands, floor jack...... what else?
