Detailing - Griot's Garage Stuff

Post by KensSpider »

Greetings!!

Have not had a chance to do much on the Spider yet, but I take meticulous care of my Jaguar. (Took second place, by .02 points) in my class at the Victoria BC Jaguar Concours this past summer.)

For about a year now, I have been using stuff from Griot's Garage which just happens to be located here in Tacoma (and they have a store locally). Their stuff is also available on the web at http://www.griotsgarage.com.

Although a bit pricey, the stuff is great and really does a nice job. I recommend it highly ... and I am NOT on the payroll!!

Cheers!!

Ken

The oil filter magnet is a cool idea but a bit pricey! I guess you could use an automatic transmission pan magnet on the end of the filter to do the trick. As for the horns....the factory air horns get plenty of attention! :D

As if you need more attention!

many of us have no fancy factory horns. I tend to go for the department store equivelant due to the price.

i love getting my griots catalogue in the mail. they have some specialty stuff occasionally that fit right in to my changes in my vehicles.

Mike, you can get the FIAMM air horns with compressor at Advance Auto parts for about $15. Then you'll be noticed too! :D

wouldn't any super strong magnet work for an oil filter shaving collector?
