Re: One Final Fiasco
Was all set to get my insurance settlement from GMAC today when the other person whose car was damaged (not the one who caused the accident) decided to file a claim through their own insurance company instead of GMAC. The immediate effect is that GMAC is not going to release any money until the other claim is resolved, so I have to wait for some indeterminate amount of time with no car and no money.
So for sure nothing in time for BFI, and probably not in time for the SoCal Turkey Trot either.

That sucks. Does the SUV driver who caused this have any assets or a job? Might be time to file in small claims court (but I am not a lawyer so don't take my "legal" advice!)
Good luck.
Good luck.
