nice looking Spider! What's the mileage on it?
larsen

Post by larsen »

it has 94k miles on it. i cant decide what i should do first. it definitly needs new trim and badges, but i cant decide on the interior. its allright but its not great, its not bad enough that i would want to redo anything right away. maybe when i get some more $$$ to spend on this thing. The engine runs strong, but the previous owner said their was a problem with the 2nd pistons valves, and it doesnt like going into first unless fully stopped. anyone else get that?

if it's hard to get into first, check the clutch adjustment. There should only be about 3/4" play at the top of the pedal

thanks i was gonna look there first since it squeks and seems a little harder to push than it should.

Hello New Spider owner

The clutch pedal on these Spiders seem to be a bit firmer
then cars of today so it might be a normal feeling pedal for a
Fiat .
Do you plan on going to the French Italian car show in
Woodly Park this coming November ? it's close to the
405 and 101 very close to Van nuys .

It's great to see the younger generation interested in classic cars. You'll be the envy of all your friends!
