Hi: I have a '76 124 Spider & the wipers stopped? I can hear a relay clicking under the dash. With the gauges out I can see 2 relays? The one on the left seems to be for the wipers? With a light probe (attached to a alligator clip for a ground) & the ignition turned on I have power to here. When I chek under the cowling (just before the wiper motor) no power. These connections appear dull. Is there a spray to clean this or do U have to replace this connection somehow, or is there an easy way to clean this plug?
All the question mean , am I on the right trail, before I try to remove the relay, and what is the other one for?
Thanks: Brant from N,S. Canada

Re: wipers stopped?
Do you have a wiring diagram for your car? Many model years are available here: http://www.artigue.com/fiat Brad's site is often down while he's upgrading it.
You're aware that these cars have intermittent wipers? Maybe bypassing the intermittent feature will restore motion.
Connectors don't have to be shiny, only "not corroded". But if you want to clean them, there are aerosol contact cleaners available from Radio Shack, McMaster Carr and lots of others.

Did you check the fuse box?
